Dr. Nahlaa Khalifa (King Abdulaziz University) KSA

Nahlaa Khalifa is an assistant professor, at clinical nutrition department, faculty of applied medical sciences, king Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She takes her PhD in food science and nutrition. Dr. Khalifa is the founder of the clinical nutrition program at king Abdulaziz University, and the coordinator of the commission for national and international academic accreditation for the clinical nutrition program, chairperson and member of many committees. Her main research interests are in nutrition and dietetics especially for mentally disabled patients, nutritional genomic, complementary and alternative medicine, prophetic medicine, environmental pollution and food safety. Her interests also lie in establishment and accreditation of new academic programs, activation of modern information technology applications in educational methods and sustainability. Professional educational experience includes teaching medical courses by using mind mapping, as she is Thinkbuzan Licensed Instructor (TLI) and TOT. Nahlaa won many prizes including; the academic excellence award from the president of King Abdulaziz University, Best paper appreciation award from world association for sustainable development (WASD) conference 2015, Brighton – UK, the best paper appreciation award from world association for sustainable development (WASD) 14^th international conference 2016 London UK and Best supervised 4th years students senior projects.
