Biography
Dr. Hela Miniaoui, Associate Professor of Economics, Gulf Studies Center, Qatar University. Dr. Hela holds a Masters in Economics from Laval University, Canada & a joint PhD in Economics from the University of Montreal, Canada and University of Tunis, Tunisia. Dr. Hela's research focuses primarily on Economic Policies, Macroeconomics and Islamic Economy, Banking & Finance. Dr Hela has consulting experience with African Development Bank Group (Tunisia), Awqaf (Endowments) New Zealand and IDEA-Consult (Tunisia). Her research has been published in various refereed journals and she has presented in international conferences. Dr. Hela serves on the editorial and review committee of several international journals. She is a member of The Middle East Economic Association (MEEA) and a research fellow at The Economic Research Forum (ERF).
