Mohamed Ahmed Abdullah is Chairman Council of Paediatric Endocrinology Fellowship Program Sudan Medical Specialization Board. President Sudan Society for Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes. President Sudanese Childhood Diabetes Association. and director Sudan Childhood Diabetes Center. Previously head of paediatric endocrinology King Saud University and security Forces Hospital Riyadh Saudi Arabia. Prof. Abdullah is a member of many regional and International endocrine and diabetes societies and holds the ISPAD (International Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Diabetes) Lestradet Award for Education and Advocacy and in 2017 honoured by giving the opening ceremony plenary lecture in the paediatric endocrine Societies meeting in Washington. Prof. Abdullah has many publications in this field. reviewer to many journals. supervised many postgraduate thesis including PhDs and MDs. Main area of research interest diabetes. adrenal disorders and DSD. Has great interest in establishing paediatric endocrinology and diabetes services in limited resource settings.
