“We are honoured to celebrate these amazing nursing graduates and mark this memorable day as they receive their pins and continue their journey to becoming clinical, administrative, and nurse leaders in the community.”
The event celebrated 158 graduates for the years 2020 and 2021 including 73 graduates from the Bachelor of Nursing (BN), regular track program, 68 graduates from the Bachelor of Nursing, post-diploma (PDBN) program, and16 graduates from the Master of Nursing program. The event included a dinner and series of speeches by White and Dr. Mohamoud Adam, director of student and enrolment services, and was held over two days in line with COVID-19 precautionary procedures and protocols.
“We are very excited to celebrate our graduates in person and hand them their nursing pins as they step into a health-care system that values them more than ever. As we look to these exceptional graduates, we feel a sense of pride for what they have accomplished during one of the most challenging years and we are confident that they will be making a difference in people’s lives every day,” Adam said.
