Biography
Samir Baha-Eddine Maliki is a Professor of Economics and Management at the University of Tlemcen in Algeria. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Versailles Saint Quentin en Yvelines, in Economics and Management, with the highest level of distinction that could be awarded for a Ph.D. in that first Category University in France. He was formerly Deputy Director of Tlemcen Higher School of Management and former president of the scientific committee council of the Business department at Tlemcen University. Prof. Maliki has very rich experience in teaching and research and the training and consulting field for more than 20 years in different countries worldwide. His specific research interests are Applied Economics, Water Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, and Economic Development. He has supervised over 80 graduate students (of which 20 are PhDs) in these fields.
Currently, Prof Maliki is the Director of the Ph.D. program on Economic Engineering and Enterprise at Tlemcen University and Head of team research at Mecas laboratory. In addition, he is an ERF Research fellow in Cairo. He is widely published in refereed journals in economics, business, and other areas of management. He has extensively presented his research at national and international conferences.
