Book chapter (2014), In “Women and ICT in Africa and the Middle East: Changing Selves, Changing Societies” Ed., Ineke Buskens and Anne Webb: 122 – 133., and more than 37 research papers in National and International peer-reviewed journals. Prof. Mervat got bronze medal in the First International Invention Fair of the Middle East, Kuwait, Oct/2007. Distinguish Scientist Certificate, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research (2007), Distinguish Scientist Certificate, the NRC, (2010, 2012, and 2013). She is a referee and Editorial Board member for some International journals, member of Standing Committee of the upgrades at Bagdad University, Iraq and Sudan University for Science and Technology, Sudan.
